ShrimperWatch - Yeovil at Home

Played ok for the first half but superbly for the last twenty minutes and won 4-1. Perversely, Yeovil are probably the best team I have seen us play this year but came off with the worst result. Still 2nd but only narrowly on goal difference.

Key man: After giving Gray all the credit for scoring twice off the bench, this should be Eastwood. Gray was quality though and turned the match in our favour.

Congrats on the win, normally it wouldn’t be so hard to take, in fact a lot of Yeovil fans have a soft spot for Southend and wouldn’t begrudge them a win once in a while. But the score line so soon after Gary Johnson had left made a few fans uncomfortable.

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I have added your link, so I will be sure to check back.

Keep up the blogging and good luck for the rest of the season.

Thanks a lot. I've reciprocated. Think I might try and develop a set of links for each league one club.

Believe me when I say that the scoreline flattered us. I actually did a report on the game that can be found on the Shrimpers online.

Somehow, I can see us being a few league positions closer by the end of the season.

Thanks for stopping by!
